Event Medical Staff

At SEMS Medical Services, Our Medical Team are professional and experienced staff who are dedicated to patient care. We provide staff at a wide variety of events from a local sports day to music festivals.

A large majority of our staff have experience working for either NHS Ambulance Services or come from the pre-hospital care industry. Having these staff allows you as a customer to know that not only are you recieving a high quality of cover, but you know that our staff understand the medical system and are able to put patients at your event onto the correct and most effective pathway.

One of our core values at SEMS is to provide a high quality of patient care, and we believe to do so we must ensure we provide a high quality of staff development. We like to think of staff as family, and provide them with opportunities to progress their career and better themselves as medical staff.

We understand that the medical side of event planning can be extremely difficult to navigate, from understanding the Purple Guides requirements to sitting in Safety Advisory Groups with senior members of the NHS ambulance service. Thats why here at SEMS, we will handle that side for you.

We will design you a bespoke medical management plan for your event, suggest the appropriate level of cover in line with current legislation and guidance, and communicate with the NHS ambulance service for you.

Our office staff have established a positive working relationship with the Welsh Ambulance Service over the past few years, allowing us to have meetings with the appropraite members of the EPRR command team to identify their needs and concerns; then iron those out before they ever get to the Safety Advisory Group meetings. This allows for your event to reflect positively in line with your licensing requirements.
